Year 7 and Year 8 Progress Update – Mid-Year Report

We are now halfway through the academic year, and your child has received their Mid-Year Progress Report. This report provides an overview of how they are working across their subjects, including:

• Attitude to Learning – how well they are engaging with lessons and taking responsibility for their learning.
• Progress – whether they are working towards their expected outcomes based on classwork, assessments, and teacher judgement.
• Homework completion – the consistency and quality of work completed outside of lessons.
• Behaviour and Contribution – how they contribute to lessons and demonstrate our school values.

We encourage you to take time to discuss the report with your child, celebrating the positives and identifying areas where they can make further progress. Small changes made now will make a big difference as they move toward Year 8 or Year 9.
